After breakfast, it was time for one last trip, for a relaxing day in the beautiful Kadirga Bay. The crystal clear waters were ready for those who wanted to swim, snorkel, or surf the last day of spring break out in style, and the beach might have been looking especially inviting for relaxation.

It was up to the folks from Fandom to make wise choices about how to spend the rest of their time in Turkey.

Fandomites and their gulets were staying docked in Fethiye through the evening and night. The weather was still good, and as the sun set over the ancient amphitheater ruins, the city burst into a different sort of life.

It's your last evening on break, people of Fandom. Make it count.

After breakfast, it was time for the gulets to take a relaxing sail to the town of Fethiye, population 68,000. This town is ripe for shopping and sightseeing, as well as an optional excursion to the gorge of Saklikent and the Blue Lagoon.

There was still some vacation left to be had, and with temperatures in the mid-80s, almost anything was possible.

The ships are docked for the night at Kargi Bay, but there's not much in the way of entertainment there. Head a few kilometers inland for nightlife in nearby Gumbet, or stay on the ship and enjoy the quiet and the stars.

The weather's nice enough for either.

After breakfast (complete with strong Turkish coffee for those who might have overindulged at the club last night) we leave Göcek for Kargi Bay,a quiet picturesque location where we'll spend ample time swimming, snorkeling and wind surfing. This little bay, home of one of the best beaches on the peninsula, is a paradise for snorkeling fans and a haven of fish just waiting to be caught.

And eaten for lunch.

Welcome to your next day of vacation, Fandom! It's Thursday, if you're starting to lose track, and the temperature is going to get up to almost 90 today: perfect for water-related activities, or if you're feeling a little waterlogged, maybe a Turkish massage.

Our travelers will be spending the evening moored at Göcek. A seaside farming village rapidly developing into the top yachting center of Turkey, Göcek lies in a valley surrounded by hills on three sides. Just two blocks from the promenade by the sea, houses still have little gardens where residents grow all kinds of vegetables, from tomatoes to eggplants, and the sidewalks are covered with orange, tangerine, grapefruit and lemon trees. The green panorama of the city is further accented by the ever-present pine trees along the hills. It's not exactly the rollicking night life of our first evening in Turkey but after two nights of quiet coves, having a choice of restaurants and clubs is nice, right?

After breakfast, the gulets headed out into the turquoise waters to sail towards Tersane Island. The island was once a center for ship building and the remains of the ancient shipyard can still be seen. More ruins await exploration up ahead - but if you're tired of all that, there's also the beach, and the small restaurant not too far away serves some good seafood for lunch.

After the opportunity to swim and plenty of time to relax in Manastir Bay, the gulets sail towards Bedri Rahmi Bay and anchor for the night. There's time to explore the bay, named for Turkish writer and artist Bedri Rahmi Eyüpoglu, one of the first to experience a ‘Blue Cruise’ back in 1973. He painted a picture of a fish on a boulder behind the fountain here on his first journey that can still be seen but shouldn't be taken as encouragement to also paint on the boulders.

There is a freshwater fountain under some immense pine trees at the northeast end of this wide bay, where a restaurant and a pier are also located. Behind the fish painting is a Lycian rock tomb seeming to lurk among the trees. In addition to this tomb, there are numerous Lycian pigeon-hole tombs carved into the face of a large rock, a rock tomb with an embroidered gate, and three tombs lying next to each other further on ahead. These rock tombs, which look like the ones in Kaunos, belong to the ancient city of Crya located further up on the hill.

Explore the ruins if you'd like, but get back before sunset or the sprained ankle you might get climbing down those rocks will be no one's fault but yours!

Taking advantage of the early morning breeze that usually blew off Dalyan beach, the gulets took off in the morning, after breakfast, towards Manastir Bay where they would anchor for lunch. The bay was a beautiful, peaceful stretch of water bordering on sandy shores and the remains of some ancient building, now half-drowned just off the shore.

Enjoy the sun, have a swim, explore your surroundings. According to legend, Cleopatra bathed here twice, so it can't be too bad.

Evening starts late in Ekincik Bay, after a long day of excursions, sunbathing, and swimming, and the travelers are most definitely welcome to extend all three of those into the twilight. (Though the sunbathing part gets a little difficult after a while.)

When true night falls, this place doesn't quite have the shopping and entertainment options of yesterday's port, but the locals have done their best to make up for that with a late-night party on the beach, featuring local bands, free food, and all the sand your bare feet can kick up!

After a hearty Turkish breakfast, the gulets set sail for the village of Ekincik, population 16,000. It was nice and sunny out, a lovely 80 degrees that carried over from yesterday.

Once there, guests would have the opportunity to join an optional excursion to Dalyan and the ancient city of Kaunos. The journey is by river boat, which stops at the ancient city before heading upstream to the sulfur mud baths. Or if that's too much effort, there's always the extensive sandy beaches of the Dalyan river delta, one of the last breeding places of the Mediterranean sea turtle.

Portalocity hasn't just taken the Spring Breakers to the Turkish Riviera--it has taken them to the Turkish Riviera last June, where the water is warm, the beaches are full, and Marmaris, the first port of call, is bursting at the seams with holiday-goers. The temperature at sunset is a warm 80 (almost 27 for the Celcius-minded), and will drop down to the high 60s as night fell.

Once checked in and onboard your gulets, your captain and his three-person crew (including a personal chef who, naturally, specializes in Turkish cuisine) will offer you a welcome mocktail/cocktail and be happy to answer any question relating to your cruise. The night will be spent in Marmaris, a town with a normal population of 30,000 that balloons to 400,000 in the summer, giving you a chance to explore its vibrant nightlife.

Welcome to Spring Break, Fandom! Don't get too many embarrassing tattoos, all right?
