Akureyri to Reykjavík, Friday, February 22, 2019
We're heading allllll the way back to Reykjavík today, where the weather is warmer and misty, but first we get to see the stunning landscape of western Iceland, visit another waterfall, and most importantly, go whale watching!
Oh, hell yeah.
Someone put a leash on Beaker, okay? Juuuuuust in case.

Re: Exploring Dalvík
He wasn't showing off, he was sharing.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
She was landlocked in the desert! This was very new!
Re: Exploring Dalvík
That's a whale. Little bit like ocean purrgil, if I had to compare it to anything. Coming up for breath, I think.
He was absolutely taking and sending a few more pictures, now, yes. Congrats, Rey. You were the entire reason Kanan would have any sort of photographic evidence of this trip.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
Thats amazing. Where is this?
Re: Exploring Dalvík
Iceland. School trip- cold, but nice scenery. And big wildlife, apparently.
Instead of a photo, now Kanan was sending video.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
It's so much water!
These were things she would never really get over.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
Ahch-To was really going to be a trip, wasn't it?
There have been waterfalls, too. Next one we come across today, I'll send video of that, too.
It might or might not include bonus Beaker in a barrel.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
What else have you seen?
Re: Exploring Dalvík
A glacier, hot springs, geysers, and lights in the nighttime sky.
But, you know, he was the worst tourist ever.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
She could admit that about this. And maybe she watched the video again.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
I'd send a whale to Jakku, but I don't imagine it would be very happy.
At least she'd get her absolute fill of space puffins someday?
Re: Exploring Dalvík
Re: Exploring Dalvík
I think the whale would prefer to stay in the water, yes. Suppose we'll have to settle for me taking more pictures?
Re: Exploring Dalvík
Well, yeah.
Re: Exploring Dalvík
And here came one more video of another, much larger whale, breaching and soaking everybody on the boat quite thoroughly.
Wildlife.
Kanan was so soaked.
